WKC at Petro Environment 2016
WKC recently presented three papers at this year’s Petro Environment Symposium and Exhibition in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, between February 22nd – 24th.
Held under the patronage of of H.R.H. Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, and endorsed by Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest oil and gas company, this unique event united the upstream and downstream sectors, giving environmental professionals the chance to meet and discuss solutions for current and future environmental challenges.
WKC speakers presented papers on the latest capabilities of oil spill simulations, real time air dispersion modelling and it’s value for industrial cities, and terrestrial ecology conservation challenges. The WKC team of speakers included Dr Stephen Crute (ecology), Shaun Pearce (air quality) and Dr Graeme Hubbert (oil spill modelling and oceanography). In addition, a paper discussing advancements in real-time dredge plume modelling was represented by Greg Ashcroft at the event.
